Google screwed me.
Google has screwed me big time! My Gmail account is frozen. Unfortunately I used it as an interface for all work mail as well. So if you mailed me within last two days, chances are they are looked inside Google servers and I haven’t seen them. Please send/resend your mails to me at asela[at]budzy.net
I highly recommend exporting your data from Gmail & Google apps immediately and do not use them for anything important. This could happen to you as well.
Google account login keeps prompting me for voice call verification with a mobile phone. But it never sent a verification code or a message. Their support has been useless and I have given up hope of hearing form a human at Google. Apparently they can suspend services anytime, at their will.
I can’t think of a reason for this suspension. If anything, I used multiple (two) Gmail accounts, one for frequent usage and the other for signing up with new services & such, to whom I didn’t want to give away my primary mail addresses. Not sure if this violates their terms of use.
Again, if you are using Gmail interface for your work mail address, export now and look for alternatives.

Sorry to hear of this Asela…what a nightmare. It is amazing how we depend so much on this stuff ha? Can’t imagine google will mess with your account. Whats worse with all these big time fellows is that you cant get a simple clarification or help directly but fill in more forms, pick from faqs and all this nonsense…good luck.. hope they get back to u soon with info.

Ouch… Yep, google’s quiet bad at working one on one with people. I keep my gmail account alive because there’s no easy way to export chat logs. Oh, the irony.
Try tuffmail. There aren’t any artificial limits on the number of aliases or domains (you can host mail for budzy.net there). There’s a very capable human at the helm (literally; the guy’s company’s called “IRBS” – “I’d rather be sailing” :) I use tuffmail to provide mail for all my domains.
